Cellulose fiber is made from a special plant species in alpine areas and undergoes a series of unique chemical treatments and mechanical processing. It has the characteristics of natural hydrophilicity and high strength and high modulus because it belongs to the natural division of plant cells.

Cellulose Fibers Introduction

Our concrete fiber is produced from unique alpine plants via professional chemical modification and mechanical processing. Derived from natural plant cell structures, this fiber features natural hydrophilicity, high tensile strength, and high modulus. Raw plants grow naturally without artificial cultivation, delivering excellent surface bonding and anchoring grip inside concrete.

During production, special modified additives turn raw fiber into sheet monomers. This makes storage, transportation, and on-site feeding much easier for our Flaky Dispersible Cellulose Fiber for Concrete. When soaked in water and churned by concrete mixers, these sheet monomers split evenly into separate fine filaments. When mixed into concrete, the fiber prevents cracking, boosts mechanical performance, and enhances durability, including freeze-thaw resistance and impermeability.

Cellulose Fibers Performance characteristics

Our cellulose fiber has natural water absorption, strong bonding strength, a large specific surface area, high toughness, and high tensile strength.

Once mixed into concrete, the fiber breaks into countless evenly distributed fine strands as water and the mixer stir.

It efficiently prevents cracks caused by plastic shrinkage, dry shrinkage, and temperature shifts.

Cellulose Fibers Specifications and dosage

Specifications: Because the fiber is short, thin, and difficult to store and transport, it is usually made into flat squares.

Dosage in concrete: 0.5- 1 kg.

1. Q: What construction projects can use this Cellulose fiber?

    A: This concrete fiber is widely applied in ready-mix concrete, road & bridge pavement, hydraulic anti-seepage projects, building 

         floors, tunnels, and municipal concrete components.

2. Q: Is the mixing dosage of concrete fiber the same for different concrete grades?

     A: Dosage varies with concrete grade and application. Standard dosage for C25-C40 ordinary concrete is 0.9~1.2kg per cubic meter; 

          Dosage increases for hydraulic and high-grade special concrete.

3. Q: Will concrete slump change obviously after mixing cellulose fiber?

     A: Slump changes slightly under standard mixing dosage; you can adjust slump easily with a small amount of superplasticizer if 

          needed.

4. Q: Can you customize the specification of concrete fiber per project requirements?

     A: Customization on fiber length, modified formula, and package is available; we adjust parameters for hydraulic, floor, and   

          pavement projects as per the customer’s requirement of concrete fiber.
