Introduction
XRT-SC Polycarboxylate superplasticizer (PCE) is made of a modified alkylene polyoxyethylene ether monomer, also known as a six-carbon monomer. Polyether is widely used in synthesizing XRT-SC, a new-generation modified polycarboxylic acid superplasticizer, and is independently developed and synthesized via free-radical polymerization of double-bond-containing substances (such as acrylic acid, maleic anhydride, etc.) to produce Polycarboxylate superplasticizer.
The polycarboxylate superplasticizer synthesized from a 6-carbon monomer exhibits good particle dispersion and excellent slump retention, good adaptability and durability, and environmental protection.
◆ Optimized Molecular Structure
A longer main carbon chain and uniform side chains provide greater steric
hindrance. Stable adsorption on cement particles, avoiding flocculation,
false set, and fast slump loss.
◆ Wide Cement Adaptability
Moderate anion charge fits all common cement types, even low-grade ones
and generic cement. No incompatibility reaction, no sudden slump drop.
◆ High Tolerance to Poor Aggregates
Built-in anti-mud groups resist invalid adsorption from mud and silt. Perfect for manufactured sand, weathered sand, and poorly
graded stone.Stable workability without bleeding, segregation, or sticky base.
◆ Great for Low-Binder Mixes
Slow-release molecular design maintains lasting fluidity and slump retention. Works well in low-cement, low-cost concrete
formulas, with no dry or hard-to-pump mix.
◆ Good Compatibility with Other Admixtures
Stable chemical performance, compatible with retarder, air-entrainer, defoamer, antifreeze, and expansion agent. No flocculation,
no delamination, easy for batching plant compounding.
◆ Wide Temperature Adaptability
Heat and cold resistant structure.Low slump loss at high temperatures and during long-distance transport; no over-retarding in
winter.
◆ Suitable for Special Concrete
Fully fits high-strength, pumped, self-leveling, self-compacting concrete, precast parts, and mortar flooring. No frequent dosage
adjustment needed.

◆ Low Temperature 5℃~15℃
This 6-carbon PCE superplasticizer features high initial water reduction and fluidity. It avoids concrete stiffening, over-retarding,
false set, and sticky base. Stable workability keeps steady strength growth even with high-mud aggregates.
◆ Normal Temperature 15℃~28℃
As a low-slump-loss polycarboxylate ether, it delivers balanced water reduction and slump retention. Low time-dependent slump
loss, good wrapping, no segregation or bleeding.Fits ordinary cement and manufactured sand with almost no dosage adjustment.
◆ High Temperature 30℃~40℃
This high-temperature-resistant PCE admixture outperforms 4C/5C PCE in hot weather. It slows cement hydration, prevents early
setting, and surface crusting. Maintains good workability during long transport; no extra retarder needed.
◆ Extreme High Temperature Above 40℃
Maintains stable plasticizing performance far better than ordinary PCE. Only a minor dosage tweak is needed, effectively solving
fast drying and poor pumping.

PCE superplasticizer, also known as polycarboxylate superplasticizer, is a high-performance water reducer. This PCE-based admixture offers strong water reduction and slump retention. But improper use can cause cement incompatibility, bleeding, segregation, over-dosing, surface bubbles, delayed setting and strength loss. To prevent these issues, test compatibility, control dosage and mixing water, follow placing procedures, and never mix PCE with naphthalene-based water reducers. Anhui Xinrui-te supplies polycarboxylate water reducer and polycarboxylic acid superplasticizer.

This article analyzes the steady rise in **PCE superplasticizer** prices in 2026, driven mainly by crude‑oil volatility and geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Based on the naphtha‑cracking route, it quantifies how oil‑price changes transmit through EO and TPEG to affect the costs of PCE powder and 40% liquid mother liquor. Three oil‑price scenarios illustrate potential cost fluctuations. It also shares practical coping strategies for overseas buyers, covering contract optimization, inventory‑logistics adjustment, product‑form selection, downstream cost transfer, and raw‑material price monitoring, to help importers mitigate market risks amid price turbulence.
ConclusionControlling bleeding in concrete made with polycarboxylate superplasticizer is a comprehensive process involving several factors. These include:※ Customized design of the polycarboxylate water reducers’s molecular structure※ Proper use of air-entraining agents and viscosity-modifying admix

Sodium Naphthalene Sulfonate (SNF) based admixtures are widely used as high-range water reducers in modern concrete production. By improving cement particle dispersion, SNF helps reduce water demand by around 18% to 28% while maintaining good workability and strength development. Its unique chemical
Global ocean freight keeps rising, with South America routes hit hardest. Traditional liquid PCE superplasticizer only has 40‑50% solid content. Water fills much of the container space, driving up logistics costs and increasing the risk of performance degradation during long‑distance hot sea transport. This article covers three main PCE forms: liquid, powder, and flake, and highlights the merits of flake or powder PCE superplasticizer. Cost simulation based on a 40'GP container shows that high‑solid solid‑form PCE greatly reduces freight cost per ton of active substance. With stable performance, long shelf life, low storage requirements, and good compatibility with ready‑mix concrete and dry mortar, it is a preferred cost‑saving solution for concrete admixture importers and distributors amid surging ocean freight.
