High quality Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer Liquid for concrete
------XRT-A(Water reducing style)
Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer Introduction:
Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer Characteristics:
Feature | Description |
---|---|
High water reduction | The water reduction rate of concrete is above 40%. |
Easy control of production | Control the water reduction ratio, plasticity and air entraining by adjusting the molecular weight of the main chain, the length and density of the side chain, and the type of side chain group. |
Good dispersion | The high fluidity of concrete makes it easy for self-compacting concrete to be placed and compacted. |
High strength gain rate | Greatly increase the early and later strength, reduce energy loss. Also reduce cracking, shrinkage and creep. |
Wide adaptability | Compatible with ordinary silicate cement, silicate cement, slag silicate cement and all kinds of blendings, with excellent dispersibility and plasticity. |
Good strength and durability | Low void ratio, low alkali and chlorine-ion content. Enhance the strength and durability of concrete. |
Environmental friendly products | No pollution during production. |
Low consumption and cost | It can be produced with a short cycle and low consumption, thus having a low cost. Especially suitable for commercial concrete. |
Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer Principle of function
The molecular backbone of polycarboxylate superplasticizer (PCE) is chemically adsorbed onto the cement particle surface via carboxylate and sulfonate groups, forming a stable anchoring layer. This inhibits the early-stage hydration process and enhances the plasticity of fresh concrete. The grafted polyethylene oxide (PEO) side chains extend into the interstitial solution, creating a steric hindrance layer (thickness: 10-20nm) that prevents particle flocculation through dual mechanisms of electrostatic repulsion (ζ-potential >30mV) and steric stabilization.
Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer Properties of Application
Sheet for XRT-A is showed as follows.
It was obtained according to the China National Standard Method.
Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer Methods Of Use
A. The dosage of XRT-A is suggested as follows (wt.% of cement): 0.25%-0.8%.
B. It can be mixed in metric water or added in concrete mixer. The recommended stirring time is 150s at least. Concrete
mixing test should be made before using in order to insure concrete quality.
C. It can be compounded together retarder, defoamer, air-entertraning reagent, lignin sulfonic natrium and so on.
D. product is a product as raw materials. It is not suggested to use XRT-A products directly in concrete or other materials without formulation blending. The compatiblity of XRT-A products to particular cement, aggregate and the other raw
materials in the application is not guaranteed. It should be obtained through trial mixes and formulation
technologies by the users.
Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer Package & Storage
A. Liquid product: 230kg/200L PE drum ,1100kg/IBC tank,.
B. Sealed stored under 0-35℃,far away from sunlight.
C. Shelflife is normally 12 month. It is tested eligibility and then used when it exceeds.
Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer Handling Notes
A. XRT-A is free from alkaline. It is no toxic, hazardous, and corrosive. It is inedible.
B. When it contacts to eyes and skin, the affected area shall be immediately rinsed with plenty of water for minutes. Consult
a physician if irritation persists.
C. Keep container closed when it is not in use. Do not store the product directly under sunlight.
