Concrete Air Entraining Agent AOS 35% Freeze-Thaw Resistant

XRT-ENL01 (AOS 35%) is a high-performance liquid air entraining agent based on Sodium Alpha-Olefin Sulfonate. As a reliable concrete admixture, it introduces stable, uniformly distributed micro-bubbles into concrete mixes, significantly improving freeze-thaw resistance, workability, and pumpability while reducing water segregation and bleeding. Ideal for ready-mix, precast, and high-durability concrete projects, AOS 35% is compatible with most superplasticizers and performs well even in hard water. With low dosage requirements (typically 0.01%-0.05% of cementitious materials), it provides cost-effective air content control. Supplied in 200kg drums, XRT-ENL01 ensures consistent quality and is backed by professional technical support. Choose our AOS 35% for durable, long-lasting concrete structures.

未标题-1

Introduction

XRT-ENL01 Sodium Alpha-Olefin Sulfonate (AOS 35%) is a high-performance anionic surfactant widely adopted as a concrete air-entraining agent and cleaning raw material. This light yellow transparent liquid contains 34–36% active matter, featuring outstanding foaming stability, strong detergency and excellent hard water resistance. XRT-ENL01 exhibits excellent compatibility with cement and other admixtures, ensuring consistent air content control even in variable site conditions. Its superior foaming stability and calcium soap dispersibility make it ideal for ready-mix, precast, and high-durability concrete projects. Biodegradable and low in residual alkali, it meets modern environmental and safety standards.

Properties

I. Essential Air‑Entraining &

Foam‑Stabilizing Performance

Stable & Persistent Foaming – Generates abundant, fine, and uniformly distributed bubbles that resist coalescence and collapse. Maintains consistent air content throughout the entire concrete mixing, transport, and placement process.

Precise Air Content Control – Exhibits strong compatibility with cement and various admixtures. Bubble volume remains stable even when site water temperature or aggregate gradation fluctuates, ensuring reliable and controllable performance.

Excellent Calcium Soap Dispersibility & Hard Water Resistance – Calcium and magnesium ions present in aggregates and mixing water do not destabilize the bubbles. Normal air entrainment is sustained even under high‑hardness water conditions.

II. Practical Benefits for Concret Engineering

Enhanced Concrete Durability – The uniform micro‑bubbles block capillary pores, significantly improving resistance to freeze‑thaw cycles, water penetration, and sulfate attack. Ideal for high‑durability, precast, and ready‑mix concrete applications.
Improved Workability & Pumpability – Lubricates aggregates, reduces internal friction, and boosts the fluidity and pumpability of the mix. Effectively minimizes segregation and bleeding, leading to a more homogeneous and easy‑to‑place concrete.

How to Use

I. Feeding Methods

  • Recommended wet addition: Fully dilute this product in mixing water first, then pour the mixture into the mixer. This creates even, stable microbubbles for optimal air-entraining effect.

  • Dry adding is prohibited: Never pour directly onto dry cement or aggregates. It will cause uneven bubble size and local excessive foaming.

  • Mix with water reducers: It mixes well with polycarboxylate and naphthalene water reducers in mixing water. No separate feeding needed.

II.Mixing Time Control

Sufficient mixing time is required, minimum 90 seconds. Short mixing leads to low air content; over-mixing breaks bubbles and reduces air volume. Use shorter mixing time at high temperatures.

Ⅲ.Storage Notes

Sealed in 200kg plastic drums, store in cool places at 0–40℃, avoid freezing and direct sunlight. Slight thickening at low temperatures is normal; stir with warm water to restore performance.
